How do I contact TransUnion?

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Our Partnership is with TransUnion

First, it's important to clarify that the free credit report and score you see inside the Updraft app is provided by our partner, TransUnion.

However, we believe that understanding your full credit profile is a key part of financial wellness. The UK has three main credit reference agencies (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion), and it's a good practice to review your report with all three periodically to get a complete picture of your financial health and check for any errors.

How to Contact TransUnion

Since we don't have a direct partnership, you will need to contact TransUnion directly to access your report or raise a query.

The best way to do this is through their official UK consumer website.

  • Website: You can find information on how to access your TransUnion Statutory Credit Report, view their help section, or raise a dispute about information on your file by visiting their consumer website at www.transunion.co.uk.

  • Telephone: 0330 024 7574

  • Post: TransUnion Consumer Services Team, PO Box 647, Unit 4, HULL, HU8 0YG

Raising a Dispute

If you find an error on your TransUnion credit report, you will need to raise a formal dispute through their online process. They will then investigate the issue on your behalf with the lender who supplied the information.

Writing to TransUnion

For official correspondence, you can also write to them at their consumer services address:

Remember, you can continue to monitor your Equifax credit report for free every month directly within the Updraft app. Focusing on positive financial habits is the best way to improve your credit files across all agencies.
