Help with issues logging in to the app

We're sorry you're having trouble logging in. It's frustrating when you can't access your account, but don't worry. These steps solve the problem for most of our users.

Please follow this step-by-step guide. We recommend trying these in order.


Step 1: Check the Basics

First, let's make sure the simple things are correct.

  • Check Your Email Address: Are you using the exact email address you used to sign up with Updraft? A small typo is a common cause of login failure.

  • Check Your Password: Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure your caps lock isn't on. Double-check for any typos.

  • Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure your phone has a stable and active connection to either Wi-Fi or mobile data.

Step 2: Reset Your Password

If you're even slightly unsure about your password, the easiest and quickest solution is to reset it.

  1. On the app's login screen, tap the 'Forgot Password?' link.

  2. Enter the email address you used to register your Updraft account.

  3. We will send a secure password reset link to your email address.

  4. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.

Can't find the email? Please check your spam or junk folder, as automated emails can sometimes be filtered there by mistake.

Step 3: Update and Restart the App

Sometimes, the issue can be a temporary glitch with the app or your device.

  • Check for Updates: Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and see if there is an update available for the Updraft app. Installing the latest version often fixes known issues.

  • Force Close and Re-open: Completely close the Updraft app and then open it again. This can often clear minor technical glitches.

  • Restart Your Phone: A simple restart of your device can resolve a surprising number of temporary app issues.

Still Can't Log In?

To help us resolve your issue as quickly as possible, please:

  • Use the subject line "Login Issue".

  • Write the email from the address you believe is associated with your Updraft account.

  • Include your full name and a brief summary of the steps you have already tried and any screenshots of error messages if possible
