Whether you've forgotten your password or simply want to update it for security reasons, the process is simple and secure.
If you have forgotten your password (resetting)
Use this process if you cannot remember your password and are unable to log in.
Open the Updraft app to the login screen.
Tap ‘Forgot Password?’ or ‘Reset Password’.
Enter the email address you used to register your Updraft account and tap ‘Submit’.
We’ll immediately send a secure, time-sensitive password reset link to your registered email address.
Open the email and click the link. You’ll be taken to a secure page where you can create and confirm a new password.
Once complete, return to the app and log in using your new password.
Can’t find the reset email?
Check your spam or junk folder, as automated messages can occasionally be filtered there. The email will come from a no-reply@updraft.com address.
If you want to change your current password
Log in to the Updraft app.
Navigate to the 'Profile' tab.
Select the 'Security' menu.
Tap on 'Change Password'.
You will be prompted to enter your current password to verify your identity.
You will then be asked to enter your new password and confirm it.
Tap 'Save' or 'Update' to complete the change.
Tips for a strong password
Your password is the first line of defence for your account. We highly recommend you create a strong and unique password by following these best practices:
Make it long: Aim for at least 12 characters.
Use a mix: Include a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols (e.g., !@#$%).
Avoid personal information: Do not use easily guessable details like your name, date of birth, or address.
Make it unique: Use a password for Updraft that you do not use for any other website or service.
Consider a password manager: These tools create and store highly complex, unique passwords for all your accounts securely.
If you continue to have trouble after following these steps, please contact our team at support@updraft.com for further assistance.
