Bank of Scotland 

To link a Bank of Scotland account you need

  • A username

  • A password

  • Memorable information

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.

Barclays

To link a Barclays account you need;

  • Your surname - this needs to be as it appears on your last bank statement.

  • A membership number - this would have been sent to you in the post when you first set up internet banking.

  • A passcode - this would have been a 5 digit number sent to you in the post when you first set up internet banking.

  • A memorable word - between 6-12 characters.

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.

First Direct

To link a first direct account you need; 

  • An internet banking username.

  • A memorable answer - the memorable answer will be to a specific question which you chose yourself i.e. what was your first pet’s name?

  • A password set up on internet banking - this will be a password chosen by you when setting up internet banking. 

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.

Halifax

To link a Halifax account you need; 

  • A user ID

  • A password

  • Memorable information - this is likely to have been chosen by you when setting up internet banking for the first time.

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.

HSBC

To link an HSBC account you need; 

  • An internet banking username - the username will start with IB or could be a name you chose yourself.

  • A memorable answer - the memorable answer will be to a specific question which you chose yourself i.e. what was your first pet’s name?

  • A password set up on internet banking - this will be a password chosen by you when setting up internet banking. 

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.

Lloyds Bank

To link a Lloyds account you need; 

  • A user ID

  • A password

  • Memorable information - this is likely to have been chosen by you when setting up internet banking for the first time, with at least 3 letters and 1 number.

Nationwide

To link a Nationwide account you need;

  • A customer number - usually 10 digits.

  • Memorable data - this will be either a date, place or name set up by you when registering for internet banking for the first time.

  • A pass number - usually six digits.

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.

Natwest

To link a Natwest account you need; 

  • A customer number - this is your date of birth followed by a unique identification number.

  • A PIN - this will be four digits.

  • A password - this would have been set up by you when registering for internet banking.

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.

RBS

To link a RBS account the customer needs; 

  • A customer number - this is your date of birth followed by a unique identification number.

  • A PIN - this will be four digits.

  • A password - this would have been set up by you when registering for internet banking.

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.

Santander

  • To link a Santander account you need; 

  • A personal ID - this may have been known as a customer number.

  • A PIN or password

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.

TSB

To link a TSB account you need; 

  • A user ID

  • A password

  • Memorable information

If you don't know one or more of these details, check your bank online login details.
